## How building works

1. **Describe what you want.** Tell Genesis in plain language — "a landing page for my
   coaching business with a hero, testimonials, and a contact form." It plans and builds it.
2. **Watch it appear.** Everything builds in a live preview alongside the chat. Every section
   is real and functional — no placeholder demos.
3. **Refine it.** Ask for changes in chat ("make the hero darker"), or click any element in
   the preview to edit text, colors, and images directly.
4. **Extend it.** Add the pieces of your hub — community, courses, checkout, live events, a
   real backend — from [Settings](/project-settings/) or by asking for them.
5. **Publish.** Ship to your [own domain](/domains/). Yours, owned, under your control.

## Two ways to edit

- **AI chat** — best for structural changes: new pages, sections, features, theme changes —
  anything you'd describe in a sentence.
- **Visual editor** — best for precise tweaks: click an element to change its style or image;
  double-click text to edit it inline.
