**My Blocks** is your personal library of sections. Save a hero, a pricing table or a footer
once, and drop it onto any page of any of your projects — no rebuilding it with the AI each time.

Open it from the builder's **More tools** (⋯) menu → **My Blocks**. It opens over the chat panel.

## Saving a section

1. Select the section in the preview.
2. In the element toolbar, click the **bookmark** icon (**Save to My Blocks**).

Genesis takes the section along with everything it needs — its components and their files — and
confirms with **Saved to My Blocks**. The block is now available in every project.

If the section depends on things it shares with the rest of the page, Genesis can't save it as it
is and tells you why. Click **Fix with AI** and the AI turns the section into a self-contained
component; after that turn, saving works.

## Adding a block to a page

Open **My Blocks** and drag a block onto the preview. It's inserted just above or below the
section you drop it on, and from then on it's an ordinary part of that page — edit it like
anything else. If you drop it inside a repeated list or a conditional part of the page, the block
is added to the project but not placed yet — click **Place with AI** in the message and the AI puts
it at that spot.

Use **Search my blocks...** to find one by name.

## Managing your blocks

On each block in the list:

- **Rename** — double-click its name.
- **Upload preview image** — replace the automatic preview picture, for example when a tall or
  animated section was captured badly.
- **Share — copy link** — copies a link you can send to someone else (the block is then marked
  **shared**).
- **Delete** — removes it from your library.

## Sharing a block

Anyone with a Genesis account who opens your share link sees the block and an **Add to My
Blocks** button. They get their **own copy**: it stays in their library and keeps working even if
you delete yours. Then they open any project and drag it onto a page.

## Things worth knowing

- A block is a copy of the section at the moment you saved it. Changing the section on the page
later doesn't change the saved block, and editing a block you inserted doesn't change the others.
- My Blocks isn't available in mobile-app projects.
