Syndicate blocks
Syndicate lets sections travel between projects. Build a great hero once, publish it as a block, and anyone with its share code can install it on their site — and receive your updates when you improve it.
Publishing your own block
Section titled “Publishing your own block”- Select the section in the preview.
- Click Publish to Syndicate in the element panel header.
- Name the block, optionally add a preview image, and Publish.
- You get a share code like
SYN-ABC123— send it to whoever should use the block.
Each time you publish changes to the same block, its version bumps (v1 → v2 → …) and installers are notified.
Installing a block
Section titled “Installing a block”Paste the share code in chat — “install SYN-ABC123” (or use the Syndicate Embed slash entry and paste the code in its panel). Genesis fetches the block, places it on your page, and pulls in anything it needs. Done — it renders like a native part of your site.
Installed blocks are locked
Section titled “Installed blocks are locked”A syndicated block on your page shows a Syndicate badge and is read-only — the publisher owns its design, you get their updates. That’s the deal that keeps updates safe.
- The AI won’t restyle it, and its settings panels (e.g. a syndicated live stream) show as managed by the publisher.
- Want to make it your own? Eject it — the block becomes ordinary editable code, and updates stop.
Updates
Section titled “Updates”When a publisher ships a new version, a notification bell appears in your builder. Review and click Update — the block refreshes to the new version in place.
- Install as many different blocks (or copies of one block) per page as you like.
- Share codes aren’t secret-protected: anyone with the code can install. Don’t publish blocks containing private content.
- Publishers can unpublish a block — already-installed copies keep working.
