Organizing your video library

Your library is a grid of folders and videos. Folders can hold videos and other folders, so you can group by course, client or campaign however deep you like. Everything here happens in All videos and the Folders tree in the left sidebar.

  1. Open the place the new folder should go — All videos or another folder.
  2. Click New folder (top right), or the + next to Folders in the sidebar.
  3. Type a name and save.

Each folder card shows how many videos it holds. Its ⋯ menu offers:

ActionWhat it does
ShareGive other ESTAGE users access to the folder — see Teams and shared folders
RenameChange the folder’s name
Move to folderPut the folder, with everything in it, inside another folder
DeleteRemove the folder and its sub-folders

Drag folder cards to change their order.

The sort menu above the video grid offers Custom order, Name (A–Z), Name (Z–A), Newest first and Oldest first. Name sorting reads numbers naturally, so “Lesson 2” comes before “Lesson 10”.

In Custom order you can drag video cards to arrange them; the order is saved for the folder. The other sorts are just a view and don’t change the saved order. Your sort choice is remembered in your browser.

Click Search videos and folders… in the top bar and start typing. Results match the beginning of a video’s title or a folder’s name, across your whole library.

Every video card’s ⋯ menu has:

ActionWhat it does
Copy Player LinkCopies the video’s link on the ESTAGE player
Move Video To FolderMoves it to another folder
Rename VideoChanges its title
Video SettingsOpens its settings page (also: click the thumbnail)
Download VideoDownloads an MP4 copy — shown once processing is finished
Delete VideoDeletes it permanently

On a folder shared with you as Viewer, the menu only offers Copy Player Link, Open Video and Download Video.

  1. Hover a video and tick the checkbox in its top-left corner.
  2. While a selection is active, clicking a thumbnail toggles it. Shift-click selects a range. Select all picks every video in the folder.
  3. Open Actions (N) and choose Move to folder or Delete.
  4. Cancel clears the selection.

If some videos can’t be moved, the rest move and the failed ones stay selected so you can try again.

  • Deleting a video removes its files permanently — from your library and from every page, lesson or post that plays it. You’re asked to confirm, but there is no undo.
  • Videos that are still processing can’t be selected for bulk actions, and clicking their thumbnail does nothing. Open one with Video Settings in its card menu.
  • Moving a video doesn’t change its link. Pages that play it keep working.
