Video on ESTAGE

ESTAGE hosts your video itself. Upload once and the platform stores it, processes it into adaptive streaming quality levels, delivers it worldwide, and plays it through its own player. There is no Vimeo or YouTube in the middle, which is what makes access rules and your own branding possible on your own domain.

Hosting & processingUpload a source file and the platform transcodes it into adaptive quality levels and delivers them over HLS, so playback adjusts to each viewer’s connection. See Uploading and processing.
A libraryVideos live in the ESTAGE Video library, organized into folders — the same library your sites and community pull from.
Access controlEach video is Public, Private, limited to Specific Domains, behind a Password, or shared by Private Link. See Privacy and sharing a video.
Team accessInvite teammates to your library, or share single folders as Viewer or Editor. See Teams and shared folders.
Your own playerPlayback runs through the ESTAGE player with your logo, colors, captions, chapters, on-video buttons and end screen — not an embed that advertises another platform or recommends other videos at the end. See Video settings.
RecordingRecord your screen, camera, or both in the browser. See Recording your screen or camera.
  • On a site — add the player element to any page and pick a video from your library. See ESTAGE Video player and Video galleries.
  • In the community — course lessons and posts play videos from your library, and members watch inside the community portal.
  • From a link — every video has a player link you can send or embed.

Written content can be protected separately with DRM Rich Text, which discourages copying of paid text on your site.

Live is part of the same platform, not a bolt-on:

  • Live streaming — go live from your camera in the browser, or broadcast from OBS or any RTMP encoder, to an adaptive player on your page. Viewers get a LIVE badge and the player switches from offline to live without a refresh. See Live streaming.
  • Webinars — a page that pairs the stream with live chat.
  • Video calls — the community portal supports call rooms between members.

Live pages, like recorded video, run on your own domain under your own brand.
