Marketplace
The Marketplace is a catalog of templates to start from: websites, web apps, mobile apps, desktop apps and email series that other people have published. Installing one gives you a copy you own and can edit like any project you built yourself.
Open it from Marketplace in the Genesis header, or press ⌘K and type marketplace.
Finding a template
Section titled “Finding a template”The catalog opens on Featured. Use the category rail to narrow it — All Templates, a category, or only the free ones — and the search box and sort to find a specific one. Email series holds sequences ready to add to your CRM messages, in your own colours.
Click a template to open its details: screenshots, Preview live for a website, Preview app for a mobile app (scan the code with Expo Go on your phone), or Preview emails for an email series.
Installing a template
Section titled “Installing a template”- Open the template and select Install to project — or Buy and install if it’s paid.
- Choose where it goes — As a new project (give it a Project name), or, where the template offers it, Into a project you own.
- Confirm that you take responsibility for the installed project, and install.
A paid template asks for payment first; enter a code under Apply coupon if you have one. Once you’ve bought a template it shows Purchased, and you can install it as many times as you like. A template that comes with an ESTAGE product you already own shows Included with your … and installs at no charge.
An email series is installed into a project’s CRM instead: pick the project, and the emails are added there and open in your CRM.
Web app templates
Section titled “Web app templates”A web app runs on its own server. The template’s files are free; the server is a package of hours you buy right after installing, under Start your web app server. Until the server is paid, the app doesn’t open. If you skip it, subscribe later in Settings → Server.
Mobile app templates
Section titled “Mobile app templates”Installing a mobile app template creates a mobile app project, so your account needs the mobile builder. Without it the button reads Mobile access required — contact ESTAGE support to get access.
Importing pages from a template you own
Section titled “Importing pages from a template you own”You don’t have to install a whole template to use part of it. On a website or mobile app template you’ve installed or bought, select Import pages into a project (Import screens into a project for a mobile app), tick the pages you want (or Select all), pick the project under Into project, and import them. Use Import another to bring in more.
Things worth knowing
Section titled “Things worth knowing”- Templates are provided as they are. By installing one you take responsibility for the resulting project — its security, compliance, data and operations.
- An installed template is your own copy. You edit it like any other project.
- To reuse a section of your own across projects, save it to My Blocks instead.
