Publishing & analytics

The Publish button in the builder’s top bar takes a funnel live:

Draft → Publish → Live → Pause → Paused
  • Live funnels are reachable at genesis.estage.com/f/your-funnel — grab the link with Copy live URL (available once live).
  • Pause takes it offline without deleting anything; re-publish any time.
  • Draft and Paused funnels return a 404 to visitors — nothing leaks before you’re ready.
  • A visitor lands on the funnel’s entry step (the one with nothing pointing into it).
  • Forms advance them to the next step on submit; buttons advance non-form steps.
  • Logic nodes route them down the right branch — A/B (sticky per visitor) or a rule.
  • Steps linked to a project page or an external URL redirect there seamlessly.

Each visitor keeps a trail of the steps they’ve seen, which powers your conversion numbers.

Switch the builder to Analyse mode (top bar) and pick a date range (Today / 7d / 30d / 90d / All). You’ll see, right on the canvas:

  • Per step — visits, unique visitors, conversion %, and drop-off %.
  • Per source — how much traffic each source sent and how it converted.
  • Per arrow — the conversion rate between two steps.
  • Funnel summary — total visits, unique visitors, leads, and overall conversion.

Select any step or source to see its detailed numbers in the inspector.

Optimise mode runs an AI audit of the live funnel:

  • A summary of overall conversion and the biggest leak.
  • A prioritised list of suggestions — what to change and why, with an expected impact and a test plan.
  • Fix with AI opens the builder with a scoped prompt to apply the change.
  • Numbers are based on real visitor traffic, so a brand-new funnel starts empty — give it visits before reading conversion rates.
  • A/B splits need enough traffic to be meaningful; the Optimise audit tells you the sample size a test needs before you trust it.
